The Ottawa County Jail is under the control of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. There is just one jail location, with a capacity of approximately 500 inmates. The Jail Administrator is Captain Jessica Faught.

Visitation is conducted through in-person no-contact visits or video visitation. One 45-minute in-person visit is allowed each week. Visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, and you must arrive at least 10 minutes before the appointment.
Video visitation is conducted through SmartJailMail, and each visit is 15 minutes. Once approved for visitation, the inmate can send a request for an on-demand video visit.
